Tinted Glass is produced by the float process with the addition of small quantities of metaloxides to color the normal clear glass mix. This coloration is achieved through adding metaloxides at the smelting stage. Addition of color does not affect the basic properties of the glass, even though visible light reflectance will be slightly higher than clear glass.
Tinted float glass can reduce transmission of the sun's harmful rays by up to 80% thus minimizing fading to interior furnishings.
The comprehensive range of soft natural colors compliments and harmonizes with modern building materials to provide an exciting and different look to new or existing buildings. Could be easily cut, bent, insulated, lami nated, lacquered, coated, tempered or heat strengthened and in addition can be silk-screened.

Addressing Your Core Concerns as a Glass Importer:
Will the coating scratch or degrade during transport and processing? We understand that coating durability is critical for your operations. Our Dark Blue Reflective Glass is a 'hard-coated' (On-line CVD) glass. The coating is fused to the glass at high temperatures during production, making it exceptionally robust and scratch-resistant. This ensures it can withstand the rigors of international shipping and handling, and can be easily cut, tempered, or laminated in your facility without special equipment, minimizing waste and processing errors.
How can this glass help my clients save money and what makes it a good sell?
Your clients are looking for value beyond aesthetics. Our glass provides a powerful selling point: significant energy savings. By reflecting a large portion of solar heat, it dramatically reduces a building's air conditioning costs. For your customers—be they developers or building owners—this translates directly to lower operational expenses and a higher property value. You can confidently market it as a premium, energy-efficient solution that offers a tangible return on investment.
Can you guarantee a stable supply and secure packaging for long-distance shipping?
As a dedicated exporter, KINGSTAR BUILDING GLASS prioritizes supply chain reliability. We offer consistent production schedules to meet your inventory needs. Furthermore, all our glass is packed in strong, seaworthy wooden crates with protective layers to prevent breakage and moisture damage during transit. You can trust that your order will arrive safely and on time, ready for immediate distribution or processing.

FAQ
Q1: Can this glass help reduce my building's energy costs?
A1: Absolutely. By reflecting a large amount of solar heat, our Dark Blue Reflective Glass significantly reduces the load on your HVAC system. This leads to lower energy consumption and reduced electricity bills, a key selling point for your clients, especially those in warmer climates.
Q2: What is the difference between your 'hard-coated' glass and 'soft-coated' glass?
A2: Our glass is 'hard-coated' (On-line CVD), meaning the coating is fused to the glass during manufacturing, making it extremely durable. It can be easily handled, cut, and tempered. This durability is a major advantage for fabricators and installers compared to the more delicate soft-coated glass.
Q3: What are the main applications for this glass?
A3: It is ideal for exterior applications on commercial and residential buildings. This includes glass curtain walls, office windows, hotel facades, and any project where your clients prioritize aesthetic appeal, energy efficiency, and daytime privacy.
